The Crown Behind the Brand

We Didn't Start in a Lab. We Started in a Kitchen — and Before That, a Garden.

Unique Organics was never supposed to be a business.

Every formula in this line was made for one person first: me.

I spent decades of my life in wigs, in weaves, in the salon chair every single week — relaxers every six weeks like it was just part of life. I never questioned it. I had never even seen my own hair.

It wasn't until my late thirties — when my husband told me to stop putting chemicals in my hair — that I cut it all off and started over from scratch. And for the first time in my life, I saw what was actually growing out of my scalp. A teeny weeny afro. Beautiful. Mine.

Then the alopecia started. It runs in my family. And I watched the hair I had just learned to love begin to thin and pull back.

So I went back to what I already knew.

My grandmother raised me in the herbs. Since I was six years old, growing up in Shreveport, Louisiana, she was teaching me the roots, the plants, the formulas — a botanical tradition with 45 years of living wisdom behind it. I combined that herbal legacy with Ayurvedic practice and got to work. Small batches. Real ingredients. Formulated in Riverside, California, in my own hands.

I made it for myself. It worked. My hair came back.

When people started noticing — and asking — I realized I wasn't the only one going through this. Women losing their edges. Women watching their crowns thin. Women who had spent their whole lives in someone else's hair and had never truly seen their own.

I had something that could help. So I started sharing it.

That's Unique Organics. Not a lab formula. Not a trend. A living herbal tradition, carried forward from my grandmother's hands to mine — and now to yours.

Every product is small-batch. Every formula is botanical. And every single one was made because I needed it first.
