The Crown Behind the Brand

We Didn’t Start in a Lab. We Started With a Need.

Unique Organics was never supposed to become a business.

Every formula in this line began with one person first: me.

For years, I lived in wigs, weaves, weekly salon appointments, and relaxers every six weeks. It was simply part of my routine. I had spent so much of my life covering and chemically altering my hair that I had barely experienced it in its natural state.

In my late thirties, I decided to stop.

I cut my hair, started over, and for the first time really saw what was growing from my own scalp.

A tiny afro.

Beautiful. Natural. Mine.

Then the thinning started.

Hair loss runs in my family, and I watched the hair I had just learned to appreciate begin to change around my crown and other areas.

That changed everything.

I started studying ingredients more seriously, experimenting with herbs, oils, roots, and traditional botanical practices, and formulating small batches for my own scalp and hair.

I wasn’t chasing trends.

I was trying to understand what my hair needed.

That process became the foundation of Unique Organics.

As my haircare routine evolved, people began noticing. They asked what I was using. They shared their own experiences with thinning crowns, fragile edges, dryness, shedding, and hair that simply no longer felt like it used to.

I realized I wasn’t creating for myself anymore.

Unique Organics became a space for thoughtful botanical haircare made for people who want to care for their scalp and strands with more intention.

Today, every formula is created in small batches in Riverside, California, with a focus on purposeful ingredients, thoughtful formulation, and scalp-first haircare.

This brand didn’t begin with a marketing plan.

It began with a real need.

And it continues to evolve the same way.

Rooted in tradition. Refined through formulation.
